Nifty and the Renegades lead the North American qualifier

ESL announce Belo Horizonte Closed Qualifier invites

Teams for the North and South American Qualifiers have been confirmed.

After announcing the teams invited to the main tournament today, ESL have announced the teams set for their closed qualifier tournaments. With North and South America split, there are a few teams on offer.

For North America, the Australians of Renegades top the bill. NRG and Torqued, who recently secured spot at the upcoming IEM Sydney and DreamHack Open Tours respectively, join them with Rogue filling out the qualifier after returning from Copenhagen.

Down in South America, Luminosity are first on the bill with NTC following closely behind them, even with the latter team lacking a full roster as of yet. FURIA are the third Brazilian side invited with Isurus taking up the mantle for Argentina.

The closed qualifier for North America is set to take place over April 13th-14th, with the open qualifier taking place April 11th-12th. South America on the other hand is set to last for a while, with the closed qualifier starting on April 24th and lasting until May 9th, after a short break in the middle.

As such, the closed qualifiers for the two regions currently look like:
