Update: Lotus swap gadfly for alicerawr

On April 15th, Lotus announced the addition of Alice "alicerawr" Hewitt to the team's ranks, with Dust2.us confirming that she has replaced Lilith "gadfly" Mize on the starting lineup. The change in the team's ranks comes as Lotus are currently competing in ESEA Main Season 53 and are aiming to compete in the ESL Impact League Season 8 qualifier in September.

The change sees alicerawr take over as the team's primary AWPer, providing the team with a dedicated sniper that the orgless squad previously lacked. According to a source on the team, the squad had to find a replacement for gadfly as she is linked with a yet-to-be announced move to Nouns.fe.

gadfly was spotted standing in for the team during the closing weeks of ESL Impact League Season 7 and is currently competing with them in Main Season 53. It is worth pointing out that the Nouns.fe tag is something of a misnomer as the squad are not financially supported by Nouns, so it was a lateral move between two orgless lineups.

alicerawr is a relatively new face in the semi-professional space, however her ESEA profile shows she has been competing since Season 20 in Open, having made the jump to Main last season with Binky.

With alicerawr, Lotus are now:

Lotus currently have a 3-0 record in Main will look to keep their perfect season intact when they take on EloThrowers on April 20th.
