Mythic announce addition of DAVEY, return of Polen for Season 33
Mythic have revealed their roster for MDL Season 33 and upcoming qualifiers, featuring the addition of Peeker's Advantage podcast host David "DAVEY" Stafford and the return of former member Adam "Polen" Polen.
The two players arrive as replacements for James "hazed" Cobb and Samuel "SileNt" Portillo, the former of whom announced his intention to step down from the team at the end of last season. SileNt's fate, meanwhile, remains unknown, with the player still remaining on the team's ESEA roster.
DAVEY joins the team after Peeker's Advantage found themselves relegated to Advanced at the end of the previous season. The Advanced slot for the Peeker's Advantage roster that was relegated was handed over earlier this month to Soham "valens" Chowdhury's Forty Six and 2 lineup, who narrowly missed out on promotion to Advanced themselves after a flawless Open Season 32 run was stopped at the last hurdle when the team fell in the grand finals.
DAVEY had departed the team's roster shortly before the handoff occurred, leaving his fate in question as to whether he would continue to compete or look more towards content creation and further opportunities as an event analyst. Polen, meanwhile, spent much of his time absent from the Mythic lineup streaming on his own, and will now look to improve upon both his own and Mythic's recent performances.

The new Mythic roster is already in action as they are currently competing in the DreamHack Open Anaheim qualifier, with the bracket available here. The team also await the start of matches for MDL Season 33, which will kick off sometime in the next three weeks.
