crashies time in ex-eRa has come to an end

Austin "crashies" Roberts and the ex-eRa roster have parted ways, the player revealed on Twitter shortly after the team's defeat in their final ESEA MDL match against eUnited.

The team failed to impress in Season 27, with two of their nine victories being forfeit wins from Nao Tem Como and Say No More. A win over Torqued was seemingly their sole surprising result in the season, with the remainder of their wins coming from the mid-tier of teams in the MDL. Still, they were one win away from making playoffs after coming from Main last season.

Hardships throughout the last few months also saw the team get ghosted just before Mad City Chicago by Wyatt "tw1ggy" Blatt, resulting in the team fielding Adam "juice" Sar in his stead. The team failed to advance past the quarterfinals, falling 2-0 to Etherian.

The team most recently made headlines when it was revealed that their organization had failed to pay them alongside teams that eRa fielded in other games. This was likely the final straw for crashies and co., who now make their exits after completing their final MDL matchups for the team.

With crashies now seeking new opportunities ex-eRa is now:

  • us Jacob "SPERMY" Younan
  • us Ali "phantom" Sachs
  • ca Jake "SIDOF" Currie
  • us Adam "juice" Sar

When reached by Dust2.us regarding his status with the squad, Ali "phantom" Sachs would only say he "does not know what [his] future holds" right now.
