DreamHack show Valve how it should be done, release full Open qualifier schedule for 2018

What a radical idea that absolutely no one has thought of before!

In a move that will surely elate other tournament organizers and players alike, DreamHack have announced  their full DreamHack Open qualifier schedule for the remainder of 2018.

Each qualifier will now follow a standardized format, where the Open portion will take place over two days and see four teams move forward to the Closed Qualifier. There, they will be joined by four higher ranked invited sides. Ultimately, one team from Europe and one team from North America will earn spots at the respective DreamHack Open event.

The relevant dates are below:

Tours April 6 - 8
United States Austin April 13 - 15
Sweden Summer April 27 - 29
Valencia May 4 - 6
United States Atlanta October 19 - 20
Sweden Winter October 26 - 28

Links to register for each open qualifier will become available three weeks before the start date of each qualifier.

As will be the case going forward, all of the North American dates have been added to our calendar.

The next DreamHack Open stop will be Tours, France. G2 were victorious in last year's event, though the American/French side of Misfits did put in a surprising performance, taking down Natus Vincere to wind up finishing in 3-4th place.
