Cloud9 look to keep North American hopes alive in China
With only one more North American team remaining in China, Cloud9 kicks off Day 3 with a European mountain to climb. Group D features the swedish GODSENT, team Belgium as well as MAX who breezes into the third day having only played a single BO1.
In the first match, Cloud9 will be against Sweden again after having lost to Fnatic on the first day. The recent Major champions will be looking to deliver GODSENT their first loss after they left their group at 3-0 with the highest round differential out of any group at +25.
Cloud9 are due to play GODSENT at 11:00PM EDT, Belgium at 3:00AM EDT, and MAX at 7:00AM EDT in BO2 sets.
As it currently stands, in-game leader Tarik "tarik" Celik is currently the highest rated player of the tournament, and he will look to continue that form in the second group stage.
