North American qualifiers for IEM Sydney announced
With three teams already invited, and the qualifiers for other regions already announced, ESL have announced the North American and European qualifier structure for North America.
The qualifier will take place over four days, commencing with the Open Qualifier on March 27th-28th, starting at 7pm EDT, from which the top two teams will continue on to the Closed Qualifier.
The Closed Qualifier will be an 8-team tournament taking place on March 29th-30th, which six teams will be invited to. The entire Round of 8 will take place on the 29th, with the semifinals and final finishing off on the 30th.
Both the open and closed qualifiers will be single-elimination brackets, with the closed taking place in a best-of-three format.
The open qualifier will take place on the ESEA platform, with signups open here. Invites for the closed qualifier are set to be announced in the coming week.
