Oderus has been searching for a team to continue competing in MDL after Ghost recently dropped their academy team.

BlackOut drop juice; bring on Oderus

Shortly after Say No More all parted ways, Oderus has found a new home with BlackOut.

It's been a bumpy ride so far in MDL for the players of ex-Ghost Academy, later ex-Say No More, after they were dropped from their organization, only to later mutually part ways when their motivation and drive had run out of gas.

After all becoming recent free agents, good news has already begun to rise from the remaining ashes of teams that once were, as BlackOut have brought on Chad "Oderus" Miller in place of Adam "juice" Sar. juice was only with the team for a few short days after filling the shoes of Jake "kaboose" McDonald for unexplained reasons.

The BlackOut roster has seen about as many roster changes in just as many days. For now, the dust appears to have settled and the team can begin to rebuild the cohesion they need to get out of their current MDL slump. The roster led by Daniel "impsta" Whaley currently sits at a 3-5 record in the league and have a slew of difficult opponents ahead of them in their scheduled matches, including: Mask Off, eRa, and Nao Tem Como.

The revised roster of BlackOut can be found below:

  • United States Daniel "impsta" Whaley
  • United States Giovanni "Fighter" Leo
  • United States Alex "aproto" Protopapas
  • Canada Tyson "TenZ" Ngo
  • United States Chad "Oderus" Miller

BlackOut's next scheduled match will be against eRa on Tuesday February 27th and can be viewed on the ESEA Twitch page. The team also are looking forward to the ECS Season 5 Challenger Cup, with a spot in the main league on the line.
