The Canadian rain is looking to win this year's Intel Challenge Katowice

Dignitas fe extend contracts for 18 months

The best female team in North America will stay with Dignitas for the forseeable future.

After Dignitas Fe's group stage victory at the Intel Challenge Katowice, the Dignitas organization announced on Twitter that they would be renewing their contracts for 18 months.

This squad has risen through the ranks of North America in the last two years, and has surpassed CLG Red as the dominant female force in the region. They won the GIRL GAMER Esports Festival as well as top four at Copenhagen Games Fe last year.

Team Captain Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido gave this statement on the Dignitas website:

This past year, my team and I have been working extremely hard to prove why we deserved to be picked up by such a respected organization like Team Dignitas. We are going into 2018 with very high expectations for ourselves and are proud to continue our journey with Team Dignitas and the dynamic HBSE family.

We started our Team Dignitas journey with a second-place finish at Intel Challenge Katowice 2017, followed by a championship title at the Girl Gamer Festival Macau. We're incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to travel internationally and represent Team Dignitas, a reminder of the growing esports landscape.

Here is the roster for Dignitas Fe:

  • United States Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido
  • United States Lynnie "artStar" Noquez
  • Canada Amanda "rain" Smith
  • Canada Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie
  • United States Kiara "milk" Makua

Their next game will be at 7:00 AM EST against RES in the semifinals of the Intel Challenge Katowice, who now feature Christine "potter" Chi.
