America's Cloud9 will be looking to defend their Major trophy in London

FACEIT announce London Major

Previous reports come true as the UK hits itself up with the peak of CS:GO this September.

London, UK is set to be the next location to host the next CS:GO Major. With this being FACEIT's first event, they become the sixth company to host the event and the UK becomes the fifth country to host it.

The$1,000,000 Major, is set to take place at the 10,000 seater SSE Wembley Arena in London. The playoffs and finals are set to take place over September 20th-23rd, with the group stage and qualifier yet to have their dates announced.

Continuing to host 24 teams, as per the expansion that came with the ELEAGUE Major: Boston, the 16 teams confirmed to be in attendance at the Major thanks to their previous finish will be:

Tickets for the event are set to go on sale April 2nd.
