PRIDE defeat 5POWER to claim Legends Cup title
After knocking them down to the losers bracket in a swift 2-0 fashion, PRIDE finally buried the Asian team of 5POWER in a 3-1 Grand Final.

The Polish squad of PRIDE won five of the six maps they played against 5POWER during the Legends Cup event.

The Legends Cup held at the Esports Arena in Santa Ana, California came to a close today with 5POWER climbing out of the lower bracket by edging out Swole Patrol, only to be snuffed out again by PRIDE in the Grand Finals.

With this victory, PRIDE will be taking home the lions share of the $20,000 prize pool. The final standings for the Legends Cup and the prize distribution breakdown can be found below:

PRIDE is currently competing in MDL Europe where they currently sit at a 2-1-0 record. They have upcoming matches against ALTERNATE aTTaX and FlipSid3 Tactics in the coming week where they look to continue their upward trend.

All in all, the event went better for the mixed bag 5POWER roster than expected, and David "Toy" Han will walk away with his share the team's $7,500 winnings for his weekend of standing-in.

North American MDL sides Etherian and Swole Patrol will be back in action this week with the usual league play, with the former also having secured a spot in the upcoming ECS Season 5 Closed Qualifier.
