Toy and erkaSt to stand in for 5POWER at Legends Cup
With the $25,000 Legends Cup coming up on February 11th, at the Esports Arena in Santa Ana, Califronia, the Asian representative, 5POWER, have had to announce stand-ins for their two Chinese players. This is due to Peng "xiaosaGe" Song and Lei "forget" Li being declined visas twice, and therefore being unable to reapply in time.
Joining the team will be American David "Toy" Han, who has been in semi-retirement since leaving Denial in September, and Grayhound player Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga. CLG Red player Diane "di^" Tran, who is local to the area, will also join the team for the competition, working in an coaching/managerial capacity.
The pair were not the first players approached to participate in the event with 5POWER, however, as Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan, Kenneth "koosta" Suen, Jason "neptune" Tran and Andy "vSa" Xu were all contacted, but unable/unwilling to play for various reasons.
The 5POWER roster for the upcoming Legends Cup will be:
