Wolffe exits Third Impact

This is the team's third departure in just over two weeks.

Third Impact’s reshuffle continues as Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield has departed the team's ESEA roster after a brief seven week stint with the squad. This leaves Third Impact looking for three members to round out its roster ahead of ESEA Advanced Season 40.

Wolffe joined the ranks of Third Impact in mid-November as a replacement for the outgoing Nicholas "hate" Young and during his short tenure with the team, the twenty-year-old posted a 1.03 rating across twelve maps while helping Keanu "DaneJoris" Reyes and company secure a third-place finish in ESEA Advanced Season 39, alongside a 5th-6h place finish in the subsequent ESEA Premier Relegation.

Wolffe told Dust2.us that he has decided to temporarily take a step back from competitive CS:GO and spend the time to focus on himself as both a player and teammate after a period of self-reflection.

Wolffe's exit from Third Impact sees him follow in the footsteps of Noah "insane" Eheart who is currently on a hiatus from competitive CS:GO and Austin "AJaxz" Janocha who cited the team's desire to rebuild as the reason for his departure.

Following Wolffe's departure, Third Impact are currently:

  • United States Keanu "DaneJoris" Reyes
  • United States Josiah "JoJo" Jimenez

Third Impact are set to compete in ESEA Advanced Season 40, which is due to begin on January 18th, 2022.
