Valors replace AtomiK and castro with droid and robby

The team was previously known as Project Freelancer before being signed by the Canadian organization.

Valors have added former Big Chillin player Damian "droid" Boulware and Robert "robby" Brown to their lineup, bolstering the 6-3 squad in the ESEA Advanced Season 39 regular season as they look to claim a spot in playoffs.

The duo come in to replace Devin "AtomiK" Ferrell and Wayne "castro" Einarsson, two founding members of the Project Freelancer lineup that formed on October 26th.

Readers may remember the Valors organization from last season when they fielded a French-Canadian squad built around Mathieu "INCRED" Bergeron and Cedric "Melio" Perrault. This lineup missed out on qualifying to ESEA Premier Season 39 after having to forfeit their opening match in ESEA Season 38 Relegation before later falling in the lower bracket to Big Chillin.

After this, the squad fizzled out without an announcement, with their slot being given to some friends before being marked dead after four matches were played in ESEA Advanced Season 39.

Valors recently returned to CS:GO with the signing of Project Freelancer on November 8th. Despite boasting a 6-3 record, AtomiK stepped down from the team on November 17th stating that he wasn't happy with his performance. castro told Dust2.us that he was cut from the team and that he bears no ill will towards the team. He also wanted to note that in his opinion Dwight "Calix" Nguyen has a bright future ahead of him at only 14-years old.

As a result of these changes, Valors are now:

  • Saad "Pluto" Siraj
  • United States J. "WOOHOO" J.
  • Dwight "Calix" Nguyen
  • United States Damian "droid" Boulware
  • United States Robert "robby" Brown

Valors next match will be against InControl Nation tonight at 8PM EST.
