nosraC has run afoul of FACEIT's efforts to clean up their hub
Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly has been handed a three month ban from FPL, Dust2.us has confirmed with a FACEIT representative. The ban was handed down on November 4th and will lapse on February 4th, 2022.
nosraC's ban from the hub comes after he was previously muted for a month in FPL's chat room after a series of confrontational and negative interactions with multiple members of the hub.
The FACEIT representative told Dust2.us that nosraC was banned due to continued toxic interactions in-game as well as other negative behaviors including trolling during matches, griefing teammates, and overall not playing to win on multiple occasions.
Additionally, nosraC is a frequent user of the Negev in FPL. Despite the Negev being legal to use in FPL, nosraC has drawn the ire of numerous players for using it excessively and in inappropriate situations. The FACEIT representative stressed that he was not banned for this but that it presented a pattern of anticompetitive behavior.
Prior to his ban, nosraC was quite active in FPL alongside his current ChocoCheck teammates, notably topping the second week of October with a staggering 36 matches. FACEIT told Dust2.us that after his ban, nosraC is free to reapply to the hub.
nosraC's team, ChocoCheck, currently sit in the middle of their group in ESEA Premier Season 39 with a 1-1 record. Their next match will be against ONET4P on November 17th.
