Mythic future uncertain as JoJo, Slugy leave team; fl0m and JDubs weigh future plans

The storied tag made end its lineage after six years depending on how the off-season shakes out.

Following their relegation from ESEA Premier Season 38, Mythic have seen their ranks reduced to three as Josiah "JoJo" Jimenez and Bradley "Slugy" Kohler have left the team and are pursuing individual offers.

The fate of Mythic's slot in Advanced is currently undecided as Erik "fl0m" Flom told Dust2.us that he is assessing his options for next season. fl0m said that he is looking to transition more to morning streaming and/or playing ESEA Open next season as he looks to take a break from competition after playing a staggering 14 seasons of Premier in a row.

Johnny "JDubs" Wu also said that the team is in the process of exploring their options and that he hasn't made a decision to leave yet.

For the moment, Mythic consists of:

  • United States Erik "fl0m" Flom
  • United States Alexander "LeX" Deily
  • United States Johnny "JDubs" Wu

Should Mythic look to utilize their Advanced slot, they will need to rebuild quickly as the first default day is right around the corner on October 22nd.
