The Winter Champs circuit was initially teased at Fragadelphia 15, with the biggest change being the decision to transition Fragadelphia 16 away from open signups to a points-based invite system. Teams will earn spots in Fragadelphia 16 by competing in a number of online events, regional LANs, and national LANs.

Additionally, for teams that are not in the top sixteen of the standings by the end of the circuit, Fragadelphia will hold a final last chance qualifier the day before Fragadelphia 16, March 3rd, to determine the final eight teams in the event. The full breakdown of the circuit can be read here.
