Fragadelphia Oceanside reaches playoffs

Just four teams remain from the starting field of 16.

Fragadelphia Oceanside kicked off yesterday with 16 teams in attendance at the final event in the run-up to Fragadelphia 15. Of those initial 16, only four remain in the running for gratis spots and travel support to the main event.

In Group A, Kyle "Just2EZ" Tan's HOW IS HE UP CAT mix cruised to the top spot, only surrendering double-digit rounds to Main squad Goose Gang. Despite their good showing against HOW IS HE UP CAT, Goose Gang finished third in the group, with Main mix RedemptionGG coming in second, and AngstyGamerZ bringing up the rear.

Things shook out a bit closer in Group B, where makuraSOFT, a team comprised mostly of players from Main side SOREKARAagain, claimed the top spot over Advanced cellar-dwellers Nemesis. Intermediate mix Mystery Incorporated and and Open mix UC Ratchetside both finished with two losses and tied each other to round out the group.

Main mix West Coast Pizza Rats finished Group C in the top spot, but found themselves contested in matches against Main side Holly Molly and 4-1 Advanced squad Synergy Reborn. The latter two teams, along with Intermediate team Slaughter Xistence, finished the group stage with 1-2 records.

The same situation unfolded in Group D, as Levitate's Royal "royalG" Gong and Solid Unknown took the number one spot with a flawless record, despite being pushed to the brink by 5-1 Main squad Untitled. Untitled, Boba Boys, and Varsity E-Athletes, a mix featuring Logan "Voltage" Long and Ashely "giraffley" Kelly, all finished with 1-2 records.
