Bad News Bears and Mythic set to field Major winners in ESEA Summer 2021 Cash Cup 3
Bad News Bears and Mythic are set to field two high-profile stand-ins this weekend for ESEA Summer 2021 Cash Cup 3, with former Evil Geniuses player Tarik "tarik" Celik set to play for Bad News Bears while former Dignitas player Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund will be playing for Mythic.
Michael "Swisher" Schmid told Dust2.us that tarik will be standing-in for Jonathan "Jonji" Carey on Bad News Bears due to the Canadian traveling tomorrow. This stand-in appearance will mark tarik's first officials since being benched on Evil Geniuses at the beginning of April. Since then, tarik has been focusing on streaming, playing a mixture of VALORANT and CS:GO on his channel.
Bad News Bears' lineup will be:
Peter "ptr" Gurney- Michael "Swisher" Schmid
- Gabe "Spongey" Greiner
- Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman
- Tarik "tarik" Celik (Stand-in)
- Nathan "madcow" Retterath (Coach)
As for GeT_RiGhT, he will be playing for Mythic from Sweden while the team search for a new permanent fifth. Like tarik, GeT_RiGhT has been focusing on his stream since he transitioned into being a full-time content creator with Dignitas.

ESEA Summer 2021 Cash Cup 3 is set to start tomorrow at 2PM EDT and will offer $2,000 and travel expenses to Fragadelphia 15 for the winner.
