GSG9 redeploy with Ryze, jeorgesnorts, and vein

seziwana will join the project temporarily to keep the roster slot alive.

Eric "Ryze" Brown has announced his intention to make use of the ex-ImPerium/GSG9 roster slot for ESEA Advanced Season 37. Ryze played two matches for ImPerium in Season 36, two 2-0 losses to Rebirth and Recon 5.

When asked about his decision to leave SKDC to rebuild GSG9, Ryze noted that he didn't think that SKDC had what it took to be competitive for a Premier Season 37 playoff run and that he would rather try to build an "RBG-esque" team that would stick together long term.

I think I’ve proven myself as a good Premier player and now as a good AWPer. I think it’s time to look for a long-term team instead of trying to prove myself on bottom tier/mediocre Premier teams. I honestly just think this will be my best step forward towards making pro one day.

Ryze also heaped praise onto his new teammates, Jeorge "jeorgesnorts" Endicott and Andrew "vein" Lindeman, noting that he feels the two have more potential than Derek "desi" Branchen and Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen. He was particularly complimentary of vein's play calling during their time together on Vireo.pro in ESEA MDL Season 35. He attributed their close games against top teams to his teammate's ability to get the most out of a team that featured players that were mentally checked out and did not practice.

Dust2.us has also confirmed with Ryze that Dave "seziwana" Schrage will join the team temporarily to fulfill ESEA's roster requirements for maintaining a league slot between seasons. seziwana joined Ryze for the four aforementioned maps in Season 36 with ImPerium against Rebirth and Recon 5.

Time will tell if any of the other ex-ImPerium players make their way back to this particular project to fill the remaining slots, but as it stands now they have all jumped ship, leaving Tanner "Kairos" S. as the only other account listed on the ESEA page, where he is listed as the GSG9 coach.
