Blackwoodproductions upset RONIN
The first Lower Bracket round of the Legend Series North American saw RONIN take on underdog Blackwoodproductions on Mirage.
Blackwoodproductions would start out strong, grabbing the first two rounds on their CT side, before they were reset by RONIN's third round buy. RONIN would build off this and take the next five rounds thanks in part to a hot streak for Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce. The teams would then trade rounds back and forth to end the half with a 9-6 scoreline in favor of RONIN, who were headed onto their CT side.
RONIN's success would continue in the second half, as they would pick up the pistol round. They climbed to a commanding 13 rounds before succumbing to a massive comeback by Blackwoodproductions to take the match into overtime.
In overtime, after a prolonged break, despite a strong performance by stand-in Lonnie "mizoo" Tran, RONIN woud fall short as Blackwoodproductions completed the comeback, ending the game 22-18 in double overtime.

As a result of the match, RONIN has been eliminated from the tournament, and Blackwoodproductions will continue on in the Lower Bracket and will face off against the loser of Etherian Esports and Swole Patrol.
