RBG top first VENN Invitational Open Qualifier
RBG have won the first VENN Invitational Qualifier, besting Pryde and Rebirth to be the first confirmed team in the qualifier for BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.
The first semifinal series on March 9th saw RBG make quick work of Pryde with a 16-9 win on Train and a 16-7 win on Nuke. On the other side of the bracket, Rebirth pulled off a relatively comprehensive victory over Secret Club, crushing them 16-7 on Overpass before winning a close 16-11 victory on Dust2.
Moving into the finals, Rebirth started the series in the lead, winning their map pick of Mirage 16-12. Switching over to Inferno, RBG pulled off a narrow 19-15 overtime victory to tie the series and force it onto Overpass. After being the underdog for the majority of the series, RBG came into Overpass in a completely dominant fashion, crushing Rebirth to win the map 16-1 and top the qualifier.

2. Rebirth (retchy, nosraC, XotiC, cxzi, cJ)
3-4. Pryde (Maxo, bootylord, try, farg, Drewtheshrew, Coach: Panic)
3-4. Secret Club (jitter, WolfY, v1c, SLIGHT, wrath, Coach: FIN)
