Infinite and FugLy are the latest big names to head to VALORANT

NRG round out VALORANT roster with Infinite

FugLy has also made the switch to the Riot title.

NRG have announced Gage "Infinite" Green as the fifth member of their VALORANT roster. The project led by Damian "daps" Steele had been incomplete since Loic "effys" Sauvageau's trial expired and Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette was benched.

Infinite made a brief appearance with ex-Cloud9 in ESEA Autumn Cash Cup 4 prior to their signing with Extra Salt, but the organization's leadership noted in their interview with Dust2.us' Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore that he seemed more interested in VALORANT than the CS:GO project. He also made a recent appearance for Rugratz in IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 and helped them to a 5-6th finish in the event.

Another familiar face, Jacob "FugLy" Medina, was announced as a part of the Projekt Radiant roster earlier this week.

FugLy recently had a forgettable ESEA MDL Season 35 with ex-Recon 5, where he averaged just a 0.85 rating in fifteen matches with the now relegated side, only posting a positive rating in three of those contests.

FugLy played in three Majors, including DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015 with Liquid, MLG Columbus 2016 with CLG, and IEM Katowice 2019 with NRG. The player also won cs_summit 3 and IEM Shanghai as a member of the latter organization.

The two VALORANT rosters now look as follows:

Canada NRG United States Projekt Radiant
  • Canada Damian "daps" Steele
  • United States Sam "s0m" Oh
  • Canada Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic
  • Canada Ryan "Shanks" Ngo
  • United States Gage "Infinite" Green
  • United States Chet "Chet" Singh (Coach)
  • Canada Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette (Inactive)
  • United States Derrek "Derrek" Ha
  • United States Belal "fgb" Ahmad
  • United States Jacob "FugLy" Medina
  • United States Jona "Jonaaa6"
  • United States Dayton "Lear" Akau

Both teams are currently participating in Nerd Street Gamers' December monthly, where they are facing off in the opening round of playoffs after making it through their respective groups. A spot in the NSG x Complexity Invitational is up for grabs for the top four finishers in this weekend's event.
