moose has stepped down from Triumph

moose set to transition to VALORANT; Triumph look to Bwills

The move will bring about an end to a four-year long Counter-Strike career for the Canadian.

In a statement to Rush B Media, Triumph have confirmed that they are set to add Brendan "Bwills" Williams as a replacement for Kaleb "moose" Jayne, who is in turn bound for VALORANT. The Canadian played his final match for Triumph on Sunday, where they were felled by Chaos 1-3 in the grand final of IEM Beijing-Haidian.

moose has been a part of Triumph since the middle of August, having joined as a replacement for Michael "Grim" Wince following his departure to Liquid. The 22-year-old has averaged a 1.05 rating over the past three months, second only to Paytyn "junior" Johnson (who may also be on the move soon), but informed Triumph that he has "[lost] his passion for CS."

Bwills, meanwhile, has averaged a 1.16 rating on New England Whalers, who announced yesterday that their roster would enter free agency on December 6 as they were unable to re-sign the lineup due to a lack of finances. As Triumph secured the services of the player following the conclusion of IEM Beijing-Haidian, he will make his first appearance for them in DreamHack Masters Winter, set to play out from November 30 - December 6.

As of now, Triumph's roster moving forward should be:

  • United States Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman
  • United States Paytyn "Junior" Johnson
  • Canada Erik "penny" Penny
  • United States Ryan "ryann" Welsh
  • United States Brendan "Bwills" Williams
  • Brazil Marcos "tacitus" Castilho (Coach)
