Dust2.us has learned from Sean "naes" Fontaine that after initially being unwilling to commit to playing ESEA MDL Season 35 Relegation with his former teammates, he has decided to help Kinship fight to retain their MDL spot.

naes says that he was initially upset with the team as they did not communicate with each other regarding the future of the lineup for three to four weeks after the end of the season, after which he was told that he would be the one being cut.

This was a big source of frustration for naes as he believes he was not able to be a part of the discussion regarding his future with the team. Especially annoying to naes is his belief that Christopher "Swahn" Swahn "manipulated" grape into agreeing to cut naes.

naes said he initially did not want to play Relegation as he did not want Swahn to take over the spot after unfairly cutting him. However, naes ultimately said he decided to come back to help his friends Connor "chop" Sullivan and grape have the highest chance of remaining in MDL for Season 36.

As a result, Kinship's roster for ESEA MDL Season 35 Relegation will be:

  • us Connor "chop" Sullivan
  • us Troy "ara" Pollock
  • us Brennan "grape" Greer
  • us Christopher "Swahn" Swahn
  • us Sean "naes" Fontaine (Stand-in)

Despite the team seemingly working out their roster issues, Kinship's fate is currently up in the air should they fail to retain their spot in MDL. chop, grape, and Swahn have all released LFT posts, with the trio telling Dust2.us that they are considering their options for next season should they be relegated. ESEA MDL Season 35 Relegation is set to start on December 7th.
