ex-Polar Ace become Hate's Chess Club as Powerzz moves to VALORANT

The team will hope to secure a few more checkmates next season.

George "Powerzz" Yaede has announced that he will be looking for a team in VALORANT, and has left ex-Polar Ace's ESEA roster.

ex-Polar Ace cut a frustrating figure during ESEA MDL Season 35, utilizing a whopping  nine players and finishing with a 5-11 record. None of their wins came against a team with a record over .500, and they just barely avoided being sent to Relegation.

The move sees Nicholas "hate" Young assume control of the roster, and he has wasted no time in rebranding the team to Hate's Chess Club.

Contacted by Dust2.us, hate said that he intends to rebuild the team with Sam "Noxio" Goodwin, with former backup/stand-in Kevin "omniscient" Ma trying out.

Notably, Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes is not part of the team's plans going forward. He had previously announced joining Alexander "zander" Diaz and Rugratz in VALORANT, but told Dust2.us that "after First Strike (he) realized that shit was ass" and that he is "back home" and "has a few [CS:GO] teams in the mix."

Hate's Chess Club are now:

  • United States Nicholas "hate" Young
  • United States Sam "Noxio" Goodwin
  • United States Kevin "omniscient" Ma (Stand-in)

With Season 35 over, and dates for Season 36 not yet announced, Hate's Chess Club have no events on their calendar.
