After impressing in the IEM Beijing open qualifier, the ESEA Advanced roster have found an organization to call home.

Morning Light have announced the signing of Springroll, an ESEA Advanced roster that currently holds a 9-4 record in Season 35 and most recently made an appearance in the semifinals of the IEM Beijing open qualifier. The organization had announced that they parted ways with their previous roster, who hold a 6-7 record, on Tuesday.

Of the players, Alec "halo" Sacry is the most notable name, having previously played for Rise in Advanced Season 33. Also among the signees is Khalid "MEs" Almathkor, who previously played for Hooked at a number of NCS Minors in Denver in 2019. In their IEM Beijing open qualifier appearance, MEs and company impressed, managing upset victories over paiN and Russian Canadians before ultimately conceding a loss to Mythic in the qualifiying round.

The team have also managed a solid run in Advanced Season 35, but face some stiff competiton as the season draws to a close as the likes of Yeah and SKDC await them in their final matchups. Springroll were ranked as the tenth best roster in the league in our recent power rankings, although they have since lost two matches from when the ranking points were determined.

Morning Light's new roster will make their debut against the Brazilian frontrunners of Yeah later tonight, with their match scheduled to kick off at 9 PM EDT on Mirage.
