GG Group acquire Chaos

The investment group features prominent names including rappers Logic and Pusha-T.

The Chaos organization took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce their acquisition by GG Group, an investment capital group owned by a variety of notable names spread across the entertainment, tech, media, fashion, and esports industries. The group also counts Do Not Peek Entertainment (DNP) as one of their holdings.

According to Complex, the group's intention is "to provide authentic and immersive content related to gaming that spans livestream events, short-form features, and more." Among the members of the group are rappers Logic and Pusha-T, as well as Virgin Gaming founders Billy Levy and Zack Zaldin.

In an open letter posted on Chaos' website, GG Group president Ramon Gamble said that they have "been working behind the scenes on plans to integrate and re-introduce Chaos EC and DNP, along with some other strategic assets, with the kind of moves you might expect of this particular group of artists and entrepreneurs."

The open letter then went on to address the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic and speak in support of the ongoing protesters and those making their voices heard in forms of "energized Chaos."

NOTE: An earlier version of this article stated that GG Group had also acquired DNP, however the production company has been part of the holding company since its inception.
