CLASIA and Wolffe leave the pack; depart Kinship for Secret Club
After qualifying for ESEA MDL Season 35 through Season 34's Relegation bracket, Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney and Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield have departed Kinship and joined the ranks of Secret Club (formerly ex-Morning Light) alongside Ethan "reck" Serrano, Collin "wrath" McSweegan, and Jordan "jitter" Ruggiero.
When contacted by Dust2.us, CLASIA noted that he felt it was time to play with players that were "more individually skilled" and that "teamwork would only get [a team] so far". CLASIA was indeed a cut above the rest of his squad as the top rated player in ESEA MDL Season 34 Relegation, posting an average 1.43 rating across four maps against Thunder Logic and Hyper.
Wolffe echoed CLASIA's confidence in Secret Club's potential for "insane" fragging power, though he conceded that it wasn't an easy decision to come to. He shared that he was initally very concerned about the prospect of joining a roster for his MDL debut without so much as a scrim under their belt as a unit, coupled with the prospect of having to leave his close friends at Kinship behind.
But a few conversations with the rest of Secret Club inspired confidence in the project and the departure of CLASIA as Kinship's clutch factor became the needed impetus for Wolffe to make the change. He stated that he remains on good terms with the remaining Kinship players and that "[We all] still hang in Discord all day so nothing's changed except we aren't playing together anymore."
Kinship simply acknowledged that they had begun the process of searching for replacements, but do not have any leading candidates at this time.
