Levitate win Golden League Season 7
Golden League's Season 7 has come to an end, seeing Levitate (plus Danny "cxzi" Strzelcyzk) best Oceanus in the grand final and RBG defeat Revenant in the third-place decider.
Golden League was established in 2018 and hosted their first event in 2019. This season featured a novel format that included direct invites to the Champions Stage for better known ESEA Advanced and ESEA MDL teams, to supplement teams that qualified from the earlier stages.
Levitate defeated Counter Nature, Front, and RBG prior to facing off with Oceanus in the grand final. Oceanus bested xoxo, Northern Forces, and Revenant in the earlier rounds of the playoff bracket. Recon 5 were supposed to participate in the event, but forfeited their first-round matchup.
The grand final it was a clean sweep for Levitate after a 16-8 victory on Overpass and a 16-10 victory on Mirage. Brendan "Bwills" Williams and cxzi both tallied 44 frags in the series for the victors, while Tyler "tweiss" Weiss's 34 kills regrettably did not add up to a win for his side.

The Levitate roster's contract with the organization expires during the player break at the end of July.
