chuti and NiSMO will join the ranks of FACEIT's top ladder

chuti and NiSMO comfortably qualify for FPL

The Mexican player ran the gauntlet from Mythic Ruby to FPL in just one month.

The month of June has come to an end, meaning that two challengers have earned a promotion to FPL. This month the players that will be promoted are Fernando "chuti" Luis Planchart and Marc-Andre "NiSMO" Tayar.

chuti won 26 of his 37 matches in the month to lock down the crown, while NiSMO was not far behind in the point tally. Despite coming in second, NiSMO was the one who posted the month's best win percentage of those who played at least ten matches, winning 23 of his 32 matches.

Rank Player Points Prize
1. Mexico Fernando "chuti" Luis Planchart 1,172 FPL
2. Canada Marc-Andre "NiSMO" Tayar 1,158 FPL
3. United States Jordan "jitter" Ruggiero 1,126
4. United States Chris "Slash" Petersen 1,126
5. United States Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield 1,110

Jordan "jitter" Ruggiero finished the month on a six game win streak, but it wasn't enough to catch NiSMO, nor could he create separation from Chris "Slash" Petersen. Slash was able to equal jitter's point total with fewer wins but a better win percentage, as the two shared the final spot on the podium. Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield rounded out the top five.

When asked about the new opportunity, NiSMO replied "I'm really happy to announce [that] I made FPL. It's something I always wanted to be [a] part of so I can challenge myself to play with better players! It also motivated me to focus more on playing and improve individually."

NiSMO's contributions in the server for ex-Morning Light during the month of June were an integral part of the team avoiding relegation and securing a direct invite to ESEA MDL Season 35. It took upset wins over Mythic and oNe to make that happen, in which he posted ratings of 1.12 and 1.38, respectively. With roster changes undoubtedly in the future for a variety of MDL teams, NiSMO has been making moves to improve his stock on the transfer market both with his performance in official matches and now by qualifying for FPL.
