Tonight's matches started off with Mythic notching another upset as they overcame Recon 5 in a 2-1 series. Starting on Dust2, the two sides were evenly matched trading 8-7 halves to force the first map into overtime. Recon 5 decisively won overtime, winning four rounds in a row to take Dust2 19-15. Moving into Inferno, the two squads were evenly matched once again, with Mythic trailing by a single round heading into their T-side. On their T-side, bolstered by a massive effort from Kaitlin "keiti" Boop, Mythic dominated Recon 5, winning Inferno 16-11 and forcing the series onto Vertigo.

Seemingly bolstered by their victory on Inferno, Mythic decisively won their opening T-side winning the half 9-6. After switching sides, Mythic continued their good as they mounted a 7-2 CT-side to take the map 16-8 and win the series 2-1.

Unfortunately for Mythic, Chaos proved to be too large an upset to bag as the top MDL squad took them down 3-0 without too much opposition. Things were looking up for Mythic on Nuke as they managed to hold Chaos at bay, even winning their CT-side 8-7. Moving onto their T-Side, Mythic's lead quickly dwindled as Chaos won the first three rounds in a row before dominating on their CT-side to take Nuke 16-11.

After a decent performance on Nuke, Mirage turned out to be a complete slaughter for Mythic as Chaos put up an immaculate CT-side, winning the first ten rounds in a row. By the end of the half, Mythic managed to scrounge together two rounds, with one of them coming from  a bungled defuse by chaos. After switching sides, Chaos quickly closed out the map and the series with a 16-2 finish. Notably Mirage saw a career best performance from Anthony  "vanity" Malaspina, with the player ending the map with an incredible 2.85 HLTV rating.
