ULTRA joins T1 VALORANT Academy

The organization have added still more CS:GO talent to their stable.

T1 have continued to go all-in on VALORANT, and have announced an Academy roster featuring Noah "ULTRA" Geisbrecht:

Prior to setting his sights on VALORANT, ULTRA played parts of three MDL seasons with teams such as Rugratz and Peeker's Advantage. More recently, he qualified for a fourth through Relegation with Buffdaddy's PayPal, and also reached the Flashpoint Season 1 North America Closed Qualifier alongside Spencer "Hiko" Martin and Ze Pug Godz.

As for ULTRA's teammates, "eeiu" also hails from a CS:GO background, having topped out in ESEA Advanced during Season 29. Kurtis "Kurt" Gallo and Hayden "ZerG" Gordon come from Apex Legends and Overwatch, respectively.

T1's VALORANT Academy roster is:

  • United States Kurtis "Kurt" Gallo
  • United States Haydin "ZerG" Gordon
  • United States Noah "ULTRA" Giesbrecht
  • Canada "eeiu"

The team have already had two official outtings together since being signed, both times utilizing Nathan "retzi" Telen as their fifth. T1 Academy did not wind up winning either event, but did place 3rd-4th in Nerd Street Gamers Open 12 over the weekend.
