DAVEY makes his return to MDL with Mythic

DAVEY returns to Mythic as stand-in

The Canadian will be filling in for about a month while zNf is making a move to a new state.

David "DAVEY" Stafford has taken over for Mythic's Donovan "zNf" Froid for the forseeable future while the latter makes an interstate move.

DAVEY is no stranger to Mythic, having played in place of zNf in the ESL One Rio Americas Minor Closed Qualifier with Erik "fl0m" Flom and the stream team. Over the course of eight maps he averaged a 0.85 rating against Cloud 9, Triumph, and Chaos, contributing to Mythic's upset win in the latter series. Prior to that, he had not played competitively since the end of ESEA MDL Season 32 with Peeker's Advantage.

Mythic are now:

  • United States Erik "fl0m" Flom
  • United States Adam "Polen" Polen
  • United States Corbin "C0M" Lee
  • United States Kaitlin "Keiti" Boop
  • Canada David "DAVEY" Stafford (Stand-in)
  • United States Donovan "zNf" Froid (Inactive)

DAVEY debuted with the team last night and got off to a rough start, posting 0.85 and 0.67 ratings in losses against ex-Morning Light and Swedish Canadians, respectively. He fared a bit better earlier tonight, notching a 0.69 rating in a close loss to Levitate, and a 1.13 rating in a win over Recon 5.

Mythic are currently fifth in the MDL Season 34 standings with a 9-5 record.
