Straight Outta Lumbridge win SANLAN Winter

The former CLG player teamed up with the enigmatic masq to secure victory at a local LAN.

Fourteen teams converged to San Antonio to battle for their share of $2,000 over the weekend. While the overall player level was low, there were some notables in attendance such as James "hazed" Cobb and Jake "kaboose" McDonald of ex-Naventic.

At the conclusion of the group stage, the mix teams of both the above players were through to the playoff portion with top seeds, and then proceeded to the semifinals as well. Unfortunately, due to a conflict with the Dust2.us Masters, kaboose was unable to play in his teams match against Never Broke Again, and they were soundly defeated 16-1. In the other semifinal, hazed was a one man army on Cache, propelling his team to the grand final.

In the grand final between Straight Outta Lumbridge and Never Broke Again, the underdogs put up a surprisingly decent fight, narrowly overpass 16-4 (after another monster performance by hazed), then taking their pick of Cobblestone.

The decider map of Mirage again saw the teams lockhorns and go the distance, this time to overtime. A triple kill from Oliver "figment" Thompson pushed SOL over the edge, and they claimed the $1,000 grand prize.

Dust2 Birthday cake!
We saw hazed hold his weight in t1 CS, and now he's forced to smurf at lowkey tournaments like this. Sucks to see, but glad he won :D
