robby and Alcoholics Anonymous will play Station7 on Saturday for a spot in the grand final

Yeah to eFire grand final as Alcoholics Anonymous fall off the wagon

The Brazilians beat the MDL side to secure a berth and one map advantage in the best-of-five grand final.

eFire Master League Season 1 has been steadily progressing toward the grand final, and will see the penultimate series play out between Alcoholics Anonymous and Station7 on Saturday.

Thunder Logic derailed Yeah on Train, using a solid 10-5 CT-side and a flawless T-side to comfortably secure their place in the event's playoff stage. Amgalan "genghsta" Nemekhbayar and Bryce "PureR" Lovell both exceeded 20 kills, 100 ADR, and a 1.5 rating in the decisive victory.

Unfortunately, both Big Frames and Under 21 forfeited as a result of roster instability, allowing Yeah to automatically advance to the playoff round with Thunder Logic from Group B.

The Brazilian side did not take their free pass to the playoffs for granted, taking Keep the Comms Up's map pick on the back of a strong T-side second half. Things only got better for Yeah on Inferno, starting with a 12-3 CT side that let them close out the series 2-0 at their leisure. Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer dropped 50 kills across two maps, while no one from the MDL squad managed a positive K/D.

Thunder Logic started off their series against Alcoholics Anonymous with a dominant win on Overpass. However once Thunder Logic were away from their home map, Alcoholics Anonymous returned the favor, as they did not allow the former team to reach double-digits on either. Lucas "Fiziq" Blow and Damian "droid" Boulware led the way for their squad with 64 kills and posted a 1.34 rating, respectively.

Alcoholics Anonymous started the upper bracket final with a convincing 11-4 CT-side on Train, but had to hold off a second-half comeback from Yeah to secure map one. Yeah carried the confidence from that comeback into maps two and three, where they convincingly reverse swept Alcoholics Anonymous on Mirage and Inferno.

Rodrigo "RCF" Figueiredo popped off in the series, posting 71 kills and a 1.39 rating to lead the South Americans to the grand final, where they will be spotted a 1-0 buffer in the best-of-five series.
