Zellsis joined Rugratz at the end of January

Rugratz set to use mada in place of Zellsis for Americas Minor Closed Qualifier

The change comes as a result of the former Swole Patrol player trialing for another team.

With the ESL One Rio Americas Minor Closed Qualifier less than two weeks away, Rugratz have made a last-minute change to their lineup for the event, swapping out Jordan  "Zellsis" Montemurro for Adam "mada" Pampuch, Dust2.us has learned. The change comes as a result of Zellsis trialing for a new team.

Zellsis originally joined Rugratz at the end of January after being released by Singularity. Since then he has appeared in two events with the team, notably helping them qualify for the ESL One Rio Americas Minor Closed Qualifier over Infinity.

As for mada, he most recently played with New England Whalers in the FLASHPOINT Closed Qualifier, where the team were dispatched following losses to Swole Identity and Orgless.

Rugratz's lineup for the Americas Minor Closed Qualifier will be:

  • United States Joshua "Hunter" Madore
  • Canada Erik "penny" Penny
  • United States Nathan "leaf" Orf
  • United States Alex "zander" Diaz
  • Canada Adam "mada" Pampuch

For now, it is not known if mada will be a permanent addition to the team.

Outside of the Closed Qualifier, Rugratz currently sit at a 1-2 in ESEA MDL Season 33 and are set to compete in eFire Master League Season One, which is set to start on March 1st.
