ESEA announce Season 33 Next Big Caster contestants

Ten casters have been selected to take part in the Next Big Caster competition for Season 33.

ESEA have announced the ten contestants who will be taking part in the Next Big Caster competition for Season 33, a reduction from the pool of 17 that were announced in the previous season.

The list of casters include a number of familiar names that have broadcasted MDL games in the past, as well as some who have featured on other streams or events such as WINNERS League and Nerd Street Gamers' National Championship Series circuit. A handful of participants from previous seasons have also returned for another chance at a finalist spot, including Steven "HeartBreaker" Cropley, Gustavo "Upmind" Domingues, and William "SCJ" Burns.

With the reduction in the number of participants to numbers that reflect earlier editions of the competition, ESEA have also decreased the number of finalists spots from last season's five down to three. The ten participants will have the opportunity to cast MDL matches on their own channels in the coming weeks, at which point the three finalists will be selected to make appearances on the MDL broadcast.

From there, a community vote will determine the winner of the competition, who will be flown out to MDL Global Challenge Season 33 to work on the broadcast with the rest of the ESEA team.

I have a very strong feeling that Gustavo "Upmind" Domingues can clutch out this season
