Regarded as one of Asia's best players, BnTeT will have a chance to prove himself on Gen.G

Gen.G confirm acquisition of BnTeT from TYLOO

After almost three years with TYLOO, the star Indonesian player will play for his first North American team.

After initially being reported on by Jarek "DeKay" Lewis on December 10th, Gen.G have finalized the deal to acquire Indonesian player Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand from TYLOO. 

The Indonesian player has been regarded as one of the strongest prospects in Asia, maintaining a 1.16 rating on LAN during his time with TYLOO. This move will give BnTeT a chance to communicate in English with his squad after previously playing with the predominantly Chinese-speaking roster. 

With the addition of BnTeT, Gen.G's complete lineup heading into 2020 is now:

  • United States Timothy "autimatic" Ta
  • United States Kenneth "koosta" Suen
  • Canada Damian "daps" Steele
  • United States Sam "s0m" Oh
  •  Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand
  • Australia Chris "Elmapuddy" Tebbit (Coach)

However, BnTeT will have to wait to make his debut with Gen.G as he is set to play out the IEM Katowice 2020 Asian Closed Qualifier with TYLOO before coming to America to join the team. As a result, Gen.G will be using a stand-in in the closed qualifier. The team initially used Hunter "SicK" in the open qualifier however Dust2.us know that it is currently to be determined if they will use him in the closed qualifier.
