Envy have parted ways with Eley as they look to rebuild for 2020

Envy part ways with Eley and Tailored

The departure of Eley and Tailored leave Nifty as the only original member of the North American Envy lineup.

With the year winding down Envy have made changes to their support staff, announcing the departure of Manager/Analyst Taylor "Tailored" Broomall and coach Zachary "Eley" Stauffer.

Eley and Tailored have been part of Envy since the organization signed the ex-Splyce core and entered the North American region back  in September 2018. Since then, the roster has largely failed to make progress in the region, with their only significant offline finish seeing them finish in third place at the IEM Katowice Americas Minor with current mousesports IGL Finn "karrigan" Andersen standing-in.

The departure of Eley and Tailored come just days after the departure of Sam "s0m" Oh to Gen.G, with the roster now reduced to just four permanent players. The team recently used former Swole Patrol member Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker as a stand-in during the first IEM Katowice 2020 open qualifier where they fell in 5th-8th after losing to Just For Fun 14-16.

With the departure of Eley and Tailored, Envy are now:

  • United States Noah "Nifty" Francis
  • Canada Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor
  • United States Jacob "FugLy" Medina
  • United States Ryan "ryann" Welsh

Envy currently have no events ahead of them with the exception of ESL Pro League Season 11, which is set to begin a few months into 2020. While waiting for the start of the season, Envy have interestingly posted a public application on their Twitter account to find a new coach and manager.
