Bushido Boyz retain MDL spot over Peeker's Advantage; Oceanus secure promotion over Faint
The final round of the MDL Season 32 Relegation tournament came to an end last night, with Bushido Boyz retaining their spot in MDL for Season 33 and Oceanus securing promotion over Faint.
Bushido Boyz remaining in MDL came at the expense of Peeker's Advantage, who find themselves relegated to Advanced following an 0-2 series loss. David "DAVEY" Stafford's side initially kept things close on Overpass, managing to edge out an 8-7 lead on the offense at halftime, but quickly found themselves on the back foot as Bushido Boyz took a string of nine rounds shortly after the side swap to close out the map.
Peeker's Advantage seemed set to force a third map as they bounced back on Mirage, dominating on the CT-side for a 12-3 scoreline at the break. Bushido Boyz were unwilling to concede however, running back thirteen rounds in a row to lock Peeker's Advantage out of the map and take a 16-12 victory.

Meanwhile, Faint and Oceanus clashed in a battle to see which of the two Advanced teams would secure promotion. It was the Canadians who came out on top, prevailing in a 2-1 series off the back of a stellar map three performance from American representative Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes.
Oceanus maintained firm control on their pick of Dust2, running up a 9-6 lead at the end of their defensive effort before quickly closing the map 16-10. A stellar T-side from Faint on Vertigo saw Sterling "sterling" Allard and company answer back, taking a 16-6 victory to force a Nuke decider. There, David "J0LZ" Jolin and KmZ reigned supreme, with the latter player dominating with a 24-4 K-D to help his team crush Faint 16-3 to close the series.

Of the three MDL squads that played in the relegation tournament, Bushido Boyz were the only roster to retain their spot in the league for Season 33. They are joined by the trio of iNTACT, Thunder Logic, and Oceanus, leaving Faint, Peeker's Advantage, Just Swing, and Rebirth to play in Advanced next season.
