steel brought in two of his Chaos comrades and cleaned up against Team chelo
The fifth iteration of the MDL All-Star Game has come to an end, with the team led by Josh "steel" Nissan taking down Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes' squad in two maps.
The online showmatch kicked off with steel selecting two of his Chaos teammates in the form of Cameron "cam" Kern and Maxim "wippie" Shepelev among others while chelo notably drafted INTZ teammate Alexandre "xand" Zizi and Riot Squad veteran Peter "ptr" Gurney.
Mirage began with Team steel dominating their competition, playing a strong CT-side that saw them end the half up 12-3. Following this, with Austin "crashies" Roberts leading the way on the server, steel's squad quickly secured a 16-8 victory.
On Nuke, strong performances from wippie and steel saw the team end the half up 9-6, however after switching sides, a notable performance from chelo saw his squad tie the map at 9-9.
This would be the last time chelo's men managed to close the gap with Team steel however, as the squad quickly rallied to secure map point before taking the map 16-12.
