The third consecutive ESL Pro League promotion season will get underway shortly after the new year.

Following the conclusion of the regular season and as playoffs begin to get underway for the majority of leagues, ESEA have announced the details for Season 33.

New teams may register immediately, while those who are currently registered for Season 32 will be able to signup following move-ups on December 23rd. MDL Season 33 will also offer promotion to ESL Pro League, making it the third consecutive season to do so.

Registration will remain open until January 6th, while teams that have less than four paid players will be removed two days later. Schedules will be released the following day, at which point teams can begin scheduling and vetoing for matches. Following the March 1st roster lock will be the start of playoffs which will run until April 6th.

Playoffs for the majority of leagues in Season 32 are currently underway, while only the grand finals remain to be played in MDL. Riot Squad will enter with a one-map advantage against INTZ, with the best-of-five series set to take place on LAN on December 13th, just ahead of the MDL Season 32 Global Challenge.
