Sonic and ATK will have the benefit of some extra help this week in Los Angeles
Joshua "m1cks" Micks has announced that he will be attending the second stage of ESL Pro League Season 10 Americas with American/South African squad ATK.
Heading to LA next week with @AtkArena to help the team during the 2nd stage of EPL. Excited to help the boys and compete for a spot in Odense!— m1cks #IStandWithMirage (@joshm1cks) November 8, 2019
Contacted by Dust2.us, m1cks said that he would be filling the role of analyst for ATK. He is no stranger to some of the players on the team, as he held the same role with Bravado at the end of 2018 into this year. He stressed that there was nothing official in place between the two parties and that he is "just helping out for the moment."
m1cks' most recent analyst stint was as part of eUnited, but he parted ways with the EPL side in October due to the pairing being a "poor fit."
With the temporary addition of m1cks to their staff, ATK are:
- Johnny "JT" Theodosiou
- Ian "motm" Hardy
- Josh "oSee" Ohm
- Ricky "floppy" Kemery
- Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek
- Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen (Coach)
- Daniel "sprayxd" Kogan (Analyst)
- Joshua "m1cks" Micks (Analyst)
ATK have been drawn into Group A for the second portion of EPL Season 10, which currently contains only themselves, Envy, and DETONA due to Complexity not continuing in the competition. ESL have not commented on whether a team will replace Complexity at this time.
