poizon may follow in the footsteps of fellow Bulgarian AWPer CeRq in his migration to the United States
With Complexity's previous AWP player Shazeb "ShahZaM" Khan being placed on the bench just yesterday, a report from 1pv.fr by French journalist neL has revealed the team's possible discussion with Windigo's own Valentin "poizon" Vasilev.
The removal of both Rory "dephh" Jackson and ShahZaM from the Complexity active roster left room for a new pair of players for the team to choose from, and with the plethora of names on the market as of now, it's the perfect time to act. Complexity has experienced both ups and downs in the last month, between their struggles in ECS Season 8 and a second-place finish in their ESL Pro League Season 10 Americas round one group over Cloud9 and eUnited.
The 21-year-old's addition to the team would mean his relocation to America from his home in Bulgaria, making Complexity his first international team. A previous report by the same publication also mentioned the possibility of Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke's negotiations with Complexity, meaning that the team would presumably have to participate in the European Minors in order to qualify for Majors, as their roster would comprise of primarily European players.
A report from Dexerto by Jarek "DeKay" Lewis detailed esports organization OG's initial interested in poizon, however, he seems to now favor the offer that Complexity has put on the table, as suggested by DeKay's most recent report.
Should Complexity add both k0nfig and poizon, their roster would look as follows:
- Owen "oBo" Schlatter
- Benjamin "blameF" Bremer
- William "RUSH" Wierzba
- Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke
- Valentin "poizon" Vasilev
- Jamie "keita" Hall (Coach)
- Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan (Inactive)
The official announcement of Complexity's fourth and fifth player should be made known sooner rather than later with the second round of ESL Pro League Season 10 Americas just around the corner.
