Nerd Street Gamers to host NCS Pomona Minor at first Player Omega

Another $5,000 prize pool is up for grabs in November.

Nerd Street Gamers have announced the next National Championship Series Minor event, which will be hosted at the inaugural Player Omega. Player Omega is set to be a gaming and esports lifestyle event, starting at the Fairplex in Pomona, California.

The CS:GO tournament will feature 16 teams and a $5,000 prize pool. Teams can sign up for the event on Lobby.gg, with an entrance fee of $40. The entrance fee will increase every two weeks leading up to the event. Signing up for the tournament also gives a free ticket to the Player Omega event. The CS:GO event will also follow WESA's Code of Conduct ruleset.

Player Omega will partner up with Nerd Street Gamers for their 2020 NCS tour, with 10 stops throughout the year, each featuring an NCS event. More details are said to be announced later.

The last NCS Minor was won by Vatic, while the last Major in Chicago was won by the old Singularity. Fragadelphia 13 took place in Huntington Beach, California, and was won by J Money Crew, which was essentially a bee's Money Crew mix featuring Matthew "Wardell" Yu. The next Fragadelphia will be returning to Philadelphia in mid-December.
