Liquid, NRG, Cloud9 set to play in ECS Season 8 Week 1
FACEIT has released the bracket for the first week of ECS Season 8, featuring names such as Liquid, NRG, and Cloud9. Liquid will be looking to redeem themselves following a rather disappointing Major in Berlin, while NRG will hope to build on a semifinals finish at the same event.
The attendance of INTZ and Singularity comes as a surprise, as both teams are yet to publically announce complete rosters that they will compete with. Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe joining MIBR earlier this week left INTZ a man down, and Singularity losing Ricky "floppy" Kemery Joshua "oSee" Ohm to ATK has them two players short of a full team.
Luminosity's name also leaves some question marks, as the organization unexpectedly dropped their roster recently, just three days after acquiring Felipe "skullz" Medeiros on loan. With the organization reportedly eyeing an exit from CS:GO, it is expected the Brazilians will play.
