skullz joins Luminosity on loan

The 17-year-old talent will look to impress on Luminosity.

Following a report by HLTV.org and Mais Esports in the middle of August that pointed towards changes in Luminosity's roster, the organization have announced that they have added Felipe "skullz" Medeiros on loan from W7M.

skullz joins the roster following the benching of Henrique "HEN1" Teles, who is a "restricted free agent" as Luminosity consider offers for the AWPer. The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of the hottest new prospects in Brazil, having already averaged an incredible 1.28 rating in his first ten online matches with W7M.

Luminosity have struggled to post results, with a string of poor showings for the team seeing them fail to qualify for the StarLadder Major in Berlin following losses to INTZ and FURIA at the Americas Minor. The team had also originally failed to qualify for the Americas Minor following a loss to oNe online, but were chosen to replace Lazarus after the team were unable to attend due to roster rules by StarLadder.

With the addition of skullz, Luminosity now have the following roster:

  • Brazil Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato
  • Brazil Lucas "steel" Lopes
  • Brazil Ricardo "boltz" Prass
  • Brazil João "felps" Vasconcellos (Loan)
  • Brazil Felipe "skullz" Medeiros (Loan)
  • Brazil Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (Coach)
  • Brazil Henrique “HEN1” Teles (Inactive)

skullz is currently making his debut on the roster in the DreamHack Masters Malmo open qualifier. The team are also slated to play in ECS Season 8, and currently await the outcome of the Pinnacle Cup.
