Sonic will join up with JT once again

Report: ATK to bring back Sonic, add oSee and floppy

The South African organization is set to fully commit to their North American integration.

According to a report from Rush B Media, South African organization ATK are set to sign Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek, who was reported to be on his way out of Envy, and Josh "oSee" Ohm and Ricky "floppy" Kemery from Singularity. The trio would replace Rhys "Fadey" Armstrong, Robby "blackpoisoN" Da Loca, and Dominic "Domsterr" Sampaio on the roster.

This move would leave ATK with only two South African players, and an American core. The report did not mention anything about roles within the team, but it would be assumed that Johnny "JT" Theodosiou would remain in-game leader while oSee would pick up the AWP.

Here is the propsed ATK lineup:

  • Johnny "JT" Theodosiou
  • United States Ian "motm" Hardy
  • Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek
  • United States Josh "oSee" Ohm
  • United States Ricky "floppy" Kemery
  • Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen (Coach)

ATK currently holds a spot in ESEA MDL Season 32, and is set to play in the upcoming ECS Season 8 North America Pinnacle Cup.

I reckon they can actually make pro league with this roster. But Singularity are fucked beyond belief. I think the org will drop them at this point.
