The fourth week of August FPL has come to a close, with Matthew "WARDELL" Yu claiming the top spot and $3,000 by edging past Maxim "wippie" Shepelev.

WARDELL and wippie were both seen grinding the FPL ladder this week, playing a total of 31 and 30 matches respectively, with WARDELL's extra win being enough to increase his winrate to 58% to secure first place.
Continuing down the leaderboard, this week was incredibly close as first place and third place were only separated by 31 points. James "hazed" Cobb claimed third place after finishing only eight points behind WARDELL and wippie, despite only playing 18 matches this week. Another notable top 10 finish saw Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly end in the money for the first time since qualifying to FPL back in July.
